Loose Women's Denise Welch storms out of NTAs after losing out to This Morning

Denise Welch let her feelings known last night when Loose Women failed to win a National Television Award.

The lunchtime panel show went head to head with its fellow flagship ITV shows This Morning and Good Morning Britain at the glitzy bash.

But the all-female team lost out again in the Best Live Magazine category to Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield and the rest of the This Morning family for the tenth year in a row.

Taking to twitter following the award snub, which is voted for by the public, Denise posted: "I'm the car on the way home. Sick of doing the losers face and pretending to not care we didn't win!!"

And it seems her co-stars were also unimpressed by the results.

As the awards are shown live on ITV, Nadia Sawalha was seen raging and caught turning to Stacey Solomon exclaiming: "I'm not happy."

However, the This Morning team were all smiles as they collected their award from former show icons Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan.

This Morning picked up the award for the tenth year in a row (ITV)

Taking to the stage, Holly said: "Thank you so much oh my goodness, and to be given this award by Richard and Judy makes it so special, thank you.

"We love making the show, if you've tuned in because you want someone to keep you company or you've tuned in because something has interested you and you've learned something or you've tuned in just to have a giggle along with us, then it’s made our job worthwhile.

"This is a special one because it's 10 years, which is just ridiculous, 10 years behind this silver-haired man who has a heart of gold I couldn't wish for more."
