Denise Welch has mocked on going speculation that she and Coleen Nolan are embroiled in a bitter feud on Loose Women.
At the start of this year, Coleen vehemently denied newspaper reports that was conflict on the ITV discussion show and that several of her colleagues ‘refused’ to be on the panel with her. The Celebrity Big Brother winner even threatened legal action against the ‘lies’ written about her as several of her co-stars spoke out in her support.
Denise and Coleen have been on Loose Women on and off for close to two decades, meaning they have sat alongside each other on the panel on countless occasions. Like all of the ladies on the show they’ve had differences of opinion over the years, but in recent months viewers at home have been taking to Twitter to claim that there’s “obvious tension” between the two and that it’s clear ‘they don’t like each other.'

Denise has shut down the theories in the past and then on Thursday, addressed them head on when she took to Instagram to post a selfie of her and Coleen, with both women looking slightly menacing and a clenched fist at the front of the shot.
Pre-empting any online comments with her tongue firmly in her cheek, Denise captioned the picture: “Just a regular Thursday for me and Col…always feuding,” tagging Coleen in the snap and adding crying laughing emojis.
Last month, Denise publicly denied that she and Coleen were feuding. Sharing a newspaper article making those claims on Twitter, she fired back: "Absolute and utter bo**ocks!!! stop trying to create problems because we are women!!"
Earlier on this week, Coleen revealed she "broke down" while watching the Queen's funeral with her family. Telling colleagues she was able to hold it together until one particular moment, Coleen explained: "When they stood up and sang God Save The Queen with this incredible choir and this incredible orchestra and all of that, I absolutely broke down."
She added: ""I think it's because they showed a picture of King Charles and he looked absolutely devastated. There was a tear in his eye, he looked like he really wanted to cry. It just...it's those moments when you think that's a family. Imagine having to do that with a relative in front of billions of people and you can't show any of your emotions really."
