Loose Women’s Denise Welch forced to apologise to viewers for massive blunder

Loose Women star Denise Welch was forced to apologise to the viewers after she made a huge error on the show.

The loose ladies were discussing the Oscars and Joaquin Pheonix’s speech about dairy farms when Denise let slip an offensive word.

Host Christine Lampard was telling the panel how she "resonated" with the actor's speech.

Denise then cut in to say: “Well I do feel guilty, especially as I had half a cow in my bloody coffee this morning.”

The actress then quickly realised her massive mistake, saying: “I’ve just sworn there!

“It just slipped out!”

Presenter Judi Love then chipped it to defend her co-star, saying: “I don’t see that as a swear word.

“I had a conversation with my sister this morning, she told me off for using that word.

Judi defended Denise and claimed that it "wasn't a swear word" (ITV)

“I don’t even see it as a swear word.”

Denise then sheepishly agreed with Judi, saying: "No it isn't a swear word, is it? Sorry."

Loose Women viewers took to Twitter after the blunder, with one saying: “When did bloody become a swear word #LooseWomen.”

Another viewer said: “Spoiling us, we've have a ****** and a bloody, come on, give us a ****. #loosewomen”

Viewers were left outraged after Martin Lewis also let slip a swear word on This Morning, while Good Morning Britain fans saw Sharon Osborne swear during a live interview.
