Loose Women's Dame Kelly Holmes covers her mouth after swearing live on air

Dame Kelly Holmes went into panic mode after accidentally swearing live on air.

The conversation on today's Loose Women revolved around whether or not an overweight Santa Claus was setting a bad example for children. Denise Welch and Katie Piper quickly shut the accusations down by saying the argument was ridiculous.

They both argued that Father Christmas isn't actually a real person and therefore immune from obesity-related issues including diabetes. Dame Kelly Holmes passionately echoed their sentiments but caught herself off-guard as she accidentally let slip an expletive at the end of her rant.

She said: "I've been in health and fitness all my life but I literally would not care if that Santa was fat, thin, black, white, gay or straight, I just want my bloody presents."

Upon realising her comments, she quickly jumped from the seat, covering her mouth and backing away from the panel. The audience lit up in a wave of gasps before Kelly awkwardly laughed it off, joking she still simply wanted her presents. The conversation was then moved on to put the sweary blunder behind them.
