Loose Women's Coleen Nolan 'shuts down' ITV co-star over Taylor Swift remarks

Coleen Nolan told her Loose Women colleagues to 'leave Taylor Swift' alone, as the panel got very excited about the rumoured romance between the singer and Denise Welch's son Matty Healy.

Just before 10pm UK time on Wednesday, reports surfaced that Anti-Hero star Taylor and The 1975's frontman Matty were an item, with a source claiming that the pair are 'madly in love' and ready to go public with their relationship when Taylor performs a concert in Nashville this weekend.

The reported romance between two quickly became headline news across the world and caused a real stir on social media. And, while Denise was absent from the Loose Women panel on Thursday, Coleen and her colleagues Charlene White, Jane Moore and Judi Love were more than happy to talk about the speculation.

Giving her opinion, Jane said she thought Matty and Taylor would be a 'great couple' as they are both talented performers and 'understand fame' before Charlene got very carried away as she suggested that Taylor could come on Loose Women and even be part of the show's annual Christmas Choir, quipping "There's a whole world of things we could do with Taylor," before adding what a claim to fame it would be to know her 'future mother in law.'

Coleen joked: "We'll hear all about it if it's true," before then trying to cool down her co-stars' excitement. As Charlene remarked: "She'll be in the family," Charlene replied: "in the family? Don't put them off," adding: "Leave them alone; it's going well obviously, so let's leave them alone and not frighten the girl away.

Undeterred, Charlene then continued: "She'll suddenly have all these new 'aunties;' that love her, to go to gigs,. want her to add them on Instagram," as Coleen could be heard moaning: "Oh no!"

Coleen shocked Charlene by saying that Taylor had actually already been on the show 'years ago' and Denise herself, has already met the megastar away from the ITV studio, having grabbed a photo with her backstage on the night that Taylor was The 1975's surprise guest at their London gig.
