Loose Women's Coleen Nolan issues 'warning' to co-stars and audience after promotion on ITV show

Coleen Nolan issued a swift warning to her Loose Women colleagues and the studio audience as she got a 'promotion' on the show on Wednesday.

While Coleen has been a panellist on the ITV lunchtime discussion programme for much of its two decades on television, she hasn't had too many opportunities to be its main presenter. She has made the step up on a few occasions over the last year and was handed another chance to anchor the panel as it returned in its usual 12.30pm for the third time this week.

The first indication of Coleen making the switch from Loose Women panellist to presenter came towards the end of This Morning, when Josie Gibson and Dermot O'Leary crossed over to Coleen in the studio, with her giving them a teaser for what was to come in the hour long live broadcast.

Minutes later, it was time for cameras to start rolling on Loose Women and, it didn't take long for Coleen to lay down the law to co-stars Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards and Kelle Bryan. Right at seconds into the show, she quipped: "Hello you lovely lot. Now I'm in charge today, so while's the cats away, you lot and you lot had better behave," as she pointed a finger at the panel and the crowd in front of her."

The first guest to join the Loose Women panel on Wednesday was model, fashion editor and activist Munroe Bergdorf and, as she strutted onto set in a stunning lack gown, Coleen remarked that she and her co-stars were 'feeling rather good' about themselves, before she appeared alongside them looking so glamorous.
