Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan enjoys spa break after taking time off show due to stress

Loose Women star Coleen Nolan has enjoyed a relaxing mother-daughter spa break after recently taking time out from the ITV panel show due to stress.

The Blackpool-born personality, 58, and daughter Ciara Fensome, headed to Champneys Spa in Mottram Hall to recharge their batteries by taking advantage of the state-of-the-art facilities and indulging in some treatments.

Uploading a slew of images showing herself sporting a white bathrobe, she captioned her post: “Thank you so much Champneys for this lovely spa break for me and my daughter. If you’re wondering what gifts to buy a loved one for Christmas why not buy a Champneys Christmas Spa Voucher. Starting from £25… it’s so worth it."

Nolan’s getaway came after she shared a video last week addressing why she had felt the need to temporarily take a step back from Loose Women.

Uploading the clip to Instagram, she began: “Hi everyone. I’ve had a week off this week. I was getting a bit stressed [with] so many things happening.

“And I just thought, [it’s] very important for your mental health to just sometimes go, ‘I can’t do it this week,' and that's what I did,” she revealed.

“Very kindly, Loose Women let me do that and I was really looking forward to it… A nice, chilled-out week, not thinking about anything.

“Let me tell you, I can’t wait to go back to work…” she confessed.

On an episode of Loose Women back in July, Nolan revealed that she had been diagnosed with carcinoma on her shoulder and had pre-melanoma on her face.

Nolan went on to urge any of her followers suffering with their own mental health to consider taking some time away.

“I also wanted to say, if you're feeling a bit stressed sometimes, and it’s only a week, even if it’s a couple of days, you just need to take that break and regroup and do normal, everyday things…” she concluded.
