Loose Women's Coleen Nolan 'desperate' to go into ITV's I'm A Celeb for sexy David Ginola

Coleen Nolan has joked that she's "desperate" to head into I'm A Celebrity - but for a certain person rather than the experience itself.

The 56-year-old recalled her former meeting with the suave Frenchman for Loose Women's special Body Stories series.

Hosting the ITV show today, Charlene White said: "We're starting off with last night's I'm A Celeb, of course, which consisted of the dreaded eating challenge... what was that sigh for?"

As Coleen fanned her card, she said: "Oh, carry on!"

Charlene continued with a grin: "Coleen is very much looking forward to this next bit because she's not excited about the dreaded eating challenge, she's not excited about the serious screaming - what she's liking is that there's lots of crushing on David Ginola!"

After clips aired of Danny Miller speaking about his 'man crush' on I'm A Celeb, Coleen continued to fan herself.

She said: "Honestly, honestly! I mean, I've never wanted to do I'm A Celeb because I'm a coward, but I've been watching the last couple of nights thinking, 'I am a celeb, get me in there!'"

"You're desperate to get in there," Charlene pointed out.

Coleen exclaimed: "Literally! I would go in and eat all those bugs if he was sitting next to me. And I would put up with the snoring, I would put up with it all because he's just gorgeous."

"We did the male Body Stories and we went back behind the scenes with them all and he was there," she said. "And you know when you sit there and try to be really cool and grown up and I'm thinking, 'Wow, I love my life sometimes and I can't wait to get home to my friends'"

Charlene asked: "So does the snoring not put you off in any form?"

"No... no because I think he does that with charisma, do you know what I mean?" Coleen joked. "He could be like, 'Sorry, mon ami,' and I'd be like, 'It's OK.'"

*Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV
