Loose Women's Coleen Nolan called out for being hungover

Loose Women's Coleen Nolan was called out for joining the panel with a hangover today.

Ruth Langsford introduced today's guests but made a specific point to focus on Coleen's well-being. Addressing the audience and their cheers, she said: "It's very nice of you but if you could just quiet down a little bit because Coleen is a little fragile this morning."

The comment led to a wave of sympathy from the audience while Coleen pulled an exhausted face to emphasis her condition. Ruth shortly revealed her co-star was feeling under the weather because she decided to spend the previous evening enjoying a drink or two.

Ruth added: "It's not for us but if I had five or some rum and cokes last night then I'd be feeling a bit fragile too." Coleen couldn't help but burst into laughter before eventually addressing the situation herself. She said: "I apologise. I am hungover. It was well worth it."

The rest of the panel quickly weighed in with Janet Street-Porter delivering the first expected dig. She said: "she started off perky but now she's slumped."

Ruth reassured Coleen she "only had an hour" to manage her hangover before she could crawl away from the studio. Aside from the rocky introduction, Coleen remained out of character, joking she needed to lie down and that she was going to be sick at the thought of an other drink.
