Loose Women favourite Charlene White was seen limping to her seat on the show on Monday, before she revealed she had fallen down the stairs on Sunday evening.
After England's Euro 2020 Final match against Italy, she took a late-night tumble down the stairs and ended up fracturing her toe, or so she believes.
Charlene told her co-stars how she injured her foot after checking in on her sleeping children after the tense match that saw England lose out to Italy during penalties.
After the tense match came to an end, she decided to make sure her children had not been disturbed by all the screaming downstairs.
But on her way back down, the tired presenter slipped on the stairs and ended up injuring one of her toes.
Charlene said she will no doubt be struggling to walk all week after being left hurt in the fall that she blamed on exhaustion, after the super close match that came to an end moments before.
After noticeably limping to her seat during the show on Monday lunchtime, she decided to explain what had happened.
She initially said: "Hello! It's taken me a while to get to the desk because I managed to fall down the stairs yesterday after the game, but that is a whole different story. We'll talk about that in a bit..."
Charlene then explained her accident to her co-hosts, as Jane Moore joked about her "trip".
She told them: "Oh my trip down the stairs, it was because of the football. I was so knackered last night, and because it went to extra time it finished really late.
"So I popped upstairs to check on the kids, to make sure all of our screaming hadn't woken them up.
"As I was coming down the stairs I just wasn't concentrating, and I slipped and I think I probably fractured my toe.
"So I'll be hobbling around for the rest of the week I reckon unfortunately."
