Loose Women's Charlene White apologises for wardrobe blunder after backstage mishap

Charlene White was forced to apologise on Loose Women today after she made a wardrobe blunder minutes into the show.

The show anchor led the panel of Kelle Bryan, Judi Love and Brenda Edwards today as they prepared for the upcoming National Television Awards tonight. Loose Women are up for a NTA for their ITV lunchtime show.

The four stars looked very glam as they chatted with guests including Hollywood star Isla Fisher and former Emmerdale actor turned farmer Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz. However, at the top of the show, Charlene was forced to admit a backstage blunder.

Speaking at the top of the show, Charlene admitted: "In the time it took for us to do the bit that we did to This Morning, to us then being live with our show, I had a bit of an accident. I can be so mucky sometimes!

"I managed to get lip gloss on my top. So anyone who's watching who's like 'ooh what's on her top?' it's lip gloss."

Her colleague Judi Love then added: "If anyone is watching, well they better be... you still look sexy!" as Kelle Bryan joked: "And if anyone's noticing, what are they looking at?" as she motioned to the chest area.

Charlene confessed there was "some commotion" backstage before the show started, and they attempted to use Fairy Liquid and a hairdryer to get rid of it. "It didn't work, so I'm 'fessing up. Hey, I'm not changing, it is what it is."

It comes after sources revealed Charlene could be the next star to sign up to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.

She is known for her strong opinions and bosses are hopeful she will lead the conversations in the camp.

"She's got some strong opinions, but is really personable and will be good value around the Aussie campfire," a source said.

"They hope her journalistic background means she will eke out some illuminating conversations from her campmates, which shouldn't be hard given some of the people she'll be sleeping in a bunk next to."

An ITV spokesperson told the Mirror: "Any names suggested for I'm A Celebrity are just speculation. We'll announce our line up nearer the show's transmission."
