Loose Women's Carol McGiffin stunned as co-star calls her a 'miserable bag'

Loose Women's Carol McGiffin was left stunned as she was labelled a "miserable bag" on the show today.

Carol was joined by fellow panellists Charlene White, Nadia Sawalha and Sophie Morgan on the ITV lunchtime show today. The pair were busy discussing secret talents, with Charlene revealing she loved to sing and Sophie sharing her incredible art works.

However, things got tense at one point as Carol was shocked when Nadia said one of her 'hidden talents' was that she was a "miserable bag". Carol quickly defended herself, insisting she had some great things to offer the world.

During their chat, Nadia shared: " I honestly don't have a hidden talent. I think I just have a lot of fun, that's what I do very well. Carol, what about you? What's your talent?" to which Carol replied: "I don't have any talent at all. Hidden or not. You don't have to say awww, I'm good with it. It means I don't have to do Strictly or anything like that."

"I know things you're brilliant at. Professional motormouth, you're definitely the most miserable bag ever," Nadia then joked leaving Carol stunned by her comment, as Nadia doubled down to add: "You do do misery very well."

Defending herself, Carol said: "I'm not miserable, I'm just me. I'm good at talking rubbish. I can write things when I put my mind to it."

There have long been rumours of behind-the-scenes feuds between the cast, but the panel have regularly spoke out to deny it and in a chat with The Mirror, Jane Moore and Katie Piper both insisted the atmosphere was great backstage.

"In the ad breaks, we’ll say, 'That was a bit fiery, wasn’t it?' I have an issue when people say, 'Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha cat fight on Loose Women'. Please, come on, we’re past that. They never do it about two blokes on a news programme and it’s so lame. Let’s move on, we’re not in the 1950s anymore. But we take it in our stride and get on with it," Jane Moore shared.

Katie Piper added: "Everyone’s different in their own way, and that’s what makes the show fresh each time. There’s nobody you dread working with as everyone’s there in their own right and brings something unique."

Fellow panellist Nadia Sawalha also rubbished rumours of a feud and she never checks social media to see people's opinions of her.

"What you want to do is you want to be totally free. So no, those that mind don't matter and those that matter don't mind. That is my mantra. It's what I teach my kids. If I get trolled, if I get anything like that, I just think, would I go out there now and ask the person at the bus stop what they think of me and then take it to heart and go in and really worry about and keep myself up at night? No. I know myself pretty well and what somebody I don't know says about me doesn't doesn't do anything to me," she added to The Mirror.
