Loose Women interrupted by Love Island's Iain Stirling after he 'forgets' important details

If there's one thing you generally shouldn't do when appearing on live TV, it is interrupt the show while it's still on air.

So you'd think Iain Stirling, aka the voice of Love Island , would know this seeing as he works in telly himself.

But to be fair to him, he was 'forced' back on to the Loose Women set following his interview for a very good reason.

The comedian was on the ITV programme to discuss the upcoming winter series of the ITV2 dating show.

But after he said goodbye to the panel, which was today made up of Andrea McLean, Denise Welch, Stacey Solomon and Judi Love, following his interview on Friday he made a second appearance after 'forgetting' some rather important details about his upcoming job.

"Excuse me, sorry..." Iain could be heard saying in the back before being seen on screen, much to the ladies surprise.

Explaining why he was interrupting the rest of the show, the 31-year-old said: "I've been sent back out by ITV because I forgot to say the time, channel and date of when Love Island starts.

"12th of January at 9pm."

As the panel laughed at his mistake and return, Iain added: "I've now fulfilled my contractual requirement."

Earlier in the show, Iain was quizzed on his girlfriend Laura Whitmore replacing Caroline Flack for the upcoming series.

"She's great isn't she. I think she's great," he said avoiding the drama surrounding her appointment to presenting duties.

He then joked: "And there are mortgage commitments that need to be considered..."
