Loose Women host Charlene White forces 'breather' after heated clash on panel

Charlene White forced Loose Womeh to take a 'breather' Thursday after a fraught clash on the panel, with Denise Welch and Jane Moore at loggerheads over Prince Harry.

Given that fresh revelations from Prince Harry's highly publicised book Spare and upcoming ITV interview dominated headlines on Thursday morning, it was little surprise that he became a big talking point in the opening stages of Loose Women, which aired just hours after a new trailer for the Bradby interview was released online.

Former Coronation Street actress Denise has been a long standing supporter of both Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle firstly questioned Prince William's motive for asking Harry not to tell Meghan about an altercation that Harry alleges happened between the two brothers as tensions boiled over.

And then, locking horns with co-star Jane Moore, Denise argued that the Riyal Family are just as guilty of 'making money' from stories as Harry and Meghan, before snapping at Jane for interrupting her.

After kicking off the discussion, host and I'm a Celebrity star Charlene was largely a bystander as Denise and Jane traded opinions, before she moved things along and changed the subject to a discussion on 'how do you cope with school drop off chaos?'

Denise and her colleagues also gave some rather fiery responses on that matter and, as the clock ticked by, Charlene instilled some calm to proceedings by taking things to an ad break and remarking: "I feel like these ladies need to take a bit of a breather?" before glancing at the studio audience and asking: "Do you want a bit of a breather?"

Earlier on in the show, Charlene attracted attention for likening the Royals to the Kardashians, commenting: "To me, it seemed a little bit like – for use of a family we hear so much about also – the Kardashians.

“It felt a little bit like watching the Kardashians. My friends used the phrase, ‘they are just a little bit of a hot mess.’”
