Charlene White left the Loose Women gobsmacked as she revealed Ant and Dec made a mistake during her time on I'm A Celebrity.

The ITV newsreader was the first celebrity to be eliminated from this year's edition of TV's toughest entertainment challenge. She appeared on today's edition of Loose Women and opened up on her experience.

Charlene was proud of her achievement in the opening ledge challenge. She said: "It's the longest that anyone has stood on top of the ledge in the history of the programme.

"I was just focussed on a barbecue in a building that I could see opposite." However, the Loose Women panel were visibly stunned and gasped when Charlene revealed Ant and Dec made "a mistake".

She added: "They forgot to tell us they would be removing the plank after we reached the end. I didn't know the plank was gone so if I had panicked and stepped backwards I would have dropped and I didn't know."

Babatunde Aleshe screamed "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" during the challenge and Charlene revealed he was scared by this development.

She said: "That's what panicked Babatunde because when he saw my plank move that's what spooked him and what prevented him from walking out to to the end."
