Loose Women forced to apologise over Linda Robson swearing and say 'she knows she has done wrong'

The Loose Women panel was plunged into chaos when Linda Robson said 'f***' while live on air.

The Birds of a Feather actress slipped up thinking she was still in rehearsal when she dropped the F-bomb.

The Loose Women were discussing ITV's cash competition where viewers are in with the chance of winning a million pounds when Linda made her blunder.

The camera cut to the 63-year-old wheeling the money onto the studio floor in a box assisted by security.

"Oh hello ladies," Linda said as she wheeled the money out.

"They've left me in charge of the prize - can you believe it?

"This is it! It's one million pounds right here in this trolley. It came straight from the ITV bank account this morning.

"But how the f**k do I look at it?" she yelled.

Her fellow panellists immediately gasped and then realised that Linda thought she was off-air.

"Are we live on air?" Linda asked.

Co-star Charlene White apologised profusely for the mistake.

She told viewers: “We’re so sorry. I would like to apologise for Linda's language.

"She knows that she has done wrong. I think Linda had forgotten that we were live on air."

However many viewers found the lunchtime scenes hilarious with one branding her an 'icon.'

"So, so funny," tweeted one.

"Haha!!! Linda Robson dropping the F-BOMB live on air!" exclaimed another.

"Got to love Linda Robson made me smile," another tweeted.

"Linda Robson is an icon," said a fourth.

"Haha Linda Robson saying F*** live on Loose Woman made my afternoon." tweeted another.

But one unimpressed viewer suggested: "Maybe a more professional approach from everyone of clean language on the studio floor, just to be on the safe side during daytime TV?"

And another said: "We can all laugh about Linda but at the end of the day if a three-year-old is sat watching that and starts saying f*** in nursery the parents would get called in, so I get why some people on here are kicking off a bit."
