Loose Women fans taken aback by Charlene's I'm a Celeb comments

Loose Women fans were taken aback by comments Charlene White made during Thursday's show.

This week's fourth instalment of the lunchtime programme saw Charlene joined by Jane Moore, Katie Piper and Kéllé Bryan. As ever, the panelists discussed current hot topics, including Harry and Meghan's explosive new Netflix series.

Having all watched each of the three episodes that dropped on Netflix earlier today, the women gave their honest opinions of what the show contains.

Jane said she did not take issue with any of what has aired so far, while Katie said she understands where Meghan is coming from in terms of having to "make herself smaller" to "fit in" to the Royal Family.

Later the conversation turned to friendships that fizzle out, after the news Only Fools and Horses stars David Jason and Nicholas Lyndhurst are not in touch much any more. Kéllé said she had been hurt in the past while being unwell when she found a close friend she expected would "be there for her" in her hour of need, in fact, wasn't.

Talking about her friends, Charlene said: "I've got loads of best mates from school and because we now live all over the place we don't see each other as much, but we do keep in contact. Sometimes with really special things.

"Like yesterday my friend had sent me some lovely beauty products, because she thought I might have needed pampering having been in the jungle for so long."

But as Charlene was the first person to be eliminated from the jungle, some viewers were confused. Taking to Twitter, Chris said: "Jungle for so long? Was it that long though?"

Liz said: "You weren't in for that long, I did vote for you though!". Emma said: "Looking good on them beauty products, don't know if you were in [the jungle] all that long though?".

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV and the ITV Hub
