Loose Women fans all say the same thing about Fergie's appearance on the chat show

Loose Women has many different presenters and many different guests and now they've even had a royal panellist. On Wednesday, April 4, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, known as Fergie, appeared on the show and viewers loved seeing her join the panel. She joined panellists Kelly Bryan, Coleen Nolan, Christine Lampard, and Jane Moore to chat about her new book and join in the discussions about motherhood and mental health.

Viewers loved seeing Fergie on the show and as part of the discussions. One said: "Until recently I didn’t know a lot about Sarah Ferguson, but I’ve seen her on a few things this last week or so and I just love her, she seems so “normal” #LooseWomen".

Another added: "@loosewomen loved loved loved @SarahTheDuchess today… what a lovely lady" and: "Really enjoyed watching Fergie today. I like her." A fourth said: "Love her!! So frank and honest as well as a naughty side. I can imagine Sarah is great fun to be around!"

A fifth said: "What a breath of fresh air Sarah the Duchess of York has been on today's Loose Women. I do hope ITV have her back as a panellist. Well done ITV". You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.

Fergie also spoke about her relationship with her ex-husband Prince Andrew. She said: "We get on because, in the darkest time of my life, he was always there for me. In the darkest time of his life I will be there for him and the Queen of England was there for him, his mum. I said to her, before she died, I will be there with him, I will help him on his journey. We have all got journeys, we just need to be there with kindness, no judgement and I will because he deserves it. He is a good man."

Discussing her mental health she said: “I’ve been very interested in your show so far, talking about these mental issues. I think it’s so important that I can sit here, very authentic now because I have really pushed them and I think it started when mum went to live in Argentina and it was 1970 or something, and I was 12… so I must be worthless for my mum to leave.”

She added: “So that’s when I started eating and I had an eating disorder then. I just pushed on the pounds and I think it’s always there, I do have body dysmorphic disorder, even now I think, you know. I think it’s important to say it, it’s really hard. We’re human and we just need to be real. That’s all we need to be. ‘I’m in pain, I’m not perfect, I get it wrong, this is who I am’ and it’s because I’ve done mental therapy, mental health issues, I’ve talked very openly about it, I’m really proud of that journey.”
