Loose Women cancelled for Cheltenham Festival coverage on ITV and fans are still fuming

Upset Loose Women fans say their week has been 'ruined' by the news that the show has been cancelled.

The daytime talk show revealed at the end of Monday's programme that it wouldn't be on again until Monday, March 16, with its absence down to the fact that ITV is prioritising coverage of the Cheltenham Festival in Loose Women's usual time slot.

And the fact that Loose Women, which regularly stars the likes of Denise Welch, Janet Street-Porter and Coleen Nolan, has been shunted for horse racing is still leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of many viewers who tune into every day.

Angry at a second day of no Loose Women action, one took to Twitter to rant: "The one day I work at home and Loose Women is cancelled for Cheltenham races !!!! day ruined no one speak to me," and another tweeted: "Loose Women being booted off air for Cheltenham Festival has genuinely ruined my week."

Others can't see why the Loose ladies couldn't do something like from Cheltenham, with another fan posting: "So why not Loose Women do Cheltenham?"

And another hit out at ITV's treatment of the show, venting: "I think you ladies should do a talk show on pod cast when your nudged off TV, I was so angry when I’d sat down with lunch & cuppa ready, and the bloody news came on!

"Surely they could put Cheltenham on a sports channel? At least we get our loose women fix! Gutted!"
