Loose Women cancelled as Cheltenham Festival causes ITV schedule shake-up

Loose Women will not air for four days this week, following Mondays' episode of the ITV daytime show.

In a shake-up to the schedule to make way for the Cheltenham Festival coverage, the ladies will not be back on screen until next week.

Monday will air the show as normal, but with the horse racing festival airing from Tuesday, ITV have ditched the show.

TV schedule guides for this week confirm that the show will not air Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

They suggest the show will be back as normal from next Monday.

No other ITV daytime show is affected by the schedule shake-up.

Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning will all air as normal all week.

This is nothing new, and annually the channel makes the sacrifice for the big event.

In September the show did not air for several days to make way for Ruby World Cup coverage.

Then again in December, the show was taken off air to make way for coverage of the UK General Electio n.

Mirror Online have contacted a representative for Loose Women for comment.

Loose Women's Stacey Solomon might appreciate the time off to celebrate her partner Joe Swash's big win on Dancing on Ice 2020.

Joe and skating partner Alex Murphy were left emotional as they were crowned surprise winners during the final on Sunday night.

They beat runners-up Perri Kiely and skating professional Vanessa Bauer to get the trophy.

Diversity dancer Perri was tipped to win the series, topping the leaderboard with his impressive performances for weeks.

But it was Joe and Alex who were named champions by hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on the night.

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
