Brits will be able to enter the homes of their friends and relatives from today, although they can only go inside for a few specific reasons.
People are able to gather in private gardens in groups of six as the Rule of Six returns in England, and outdoor sports also resumes.
Under the new rules, Brits will be able to go into other people's homes but only for a short period of time to get a drink, use the toilet or to access the garden.
Mingling indoors will still be banned and social distancing must continue to be observed.
The Government has changed its official advice from 'stay at home' to 'stay local', although it is not exactly clear what this means.
Outdoor swimming pools, tennis, golf courses and more are now allowed to reopen.
The scheduled relaxation of restrictions is the second part of Boris Johnson's lockdown exit plan.
