'Looks like a beer mat' to 'I love it' - mixed Bristol City fan reaction to new club crest

Bristol City released their new club crest design on Tuesday with an accompanying event at the Robins pub just down from Ashton Gate Stadium.

Club president Marina Dolman, vice-chairman Jon Lansdown, head coach Lee Johnson were all at the local pub to discuss and show off the new robin badge adorning a new home shirt and range of leisure wear.

And Bristol City fans have not been shy to have their say on how they rate the new designs, that attracted some 3,350 responses when the club announced that it was looking to alter the badge since considering revisions in 2005.

Reaction so far has been mixed, for the new 'contemporary' look that will be sported across the Men and Women's teams' home and away kits next campaign.
