If you’re looking for a tranquil escape without going abroad, look no further than this secret cove in Dorset.
Stair Hole Cove is a small cove located just west of Lulworth Cove, and is one of the quieter and more beautiful spots on England’s southern coast.
The stunning location features a rock beach and crystal clear waters, as well as a natural stone archway acting as a gateway to the English Channel.
The compact cove is a hidden wonder on the much loved Jurassic Coast, and also includes multiple caves which can be seen from the seaward side of Stair Hole and has been featured in films and plays.

The video of the secluded area, which comes from TikTok user @ellenwhysall, shows off the beauty of the area, with enticing water which paddleboarders are making the most of.
Others are relaxing on the beach as the camera pans across, subsequently showing a gap in the rocks which leads out to sea.
The video ends with a picture of the gap featuring the postcode of the cove, BH18 1LB.
Stair Hole is just a short five minute walk from Lulworth Cove where there is plenty of parking.
