The Vikings face off against the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday night.
Kirk Cousins, who spent six seasons with the Redskins, is plenty familiar with the Cowboys, although not very successful.
Cousins has played seven-career games against the Cowboys and has just one win. In those games, his individual numbers aren’t all that bad. He has thrown for an average of 274 yards, 1.7 touchdowns and .4 interceptions per game while completing 68 percent of his passes.
Of course, this is a different Cowboys team than Cousins has played in the past. The last time he played the Cowboys was back on Nov. 11, 2017 when the Redskins lost 38-14. Cousins threw for 251 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions.
The Vikings and Cousins will hope for different results this time. Minnesota at 6-3 is trying to inch close to a playoff berth after finishing with a disappointing 8-7-1 record last season.
In 2019, Cousins has thrown for 2,217 yards, 16 touchdowns and just three interceptions in nine games.
