We aren’t going to lie, we love to talk about the NFL draft. This is unfortunate for the Pittsburgh Steelers because they seem satisfied in trading away as much of their 2020 draft picks as possible. Pittsburgh traded their first-round pick in 2020 just a week ago for safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.
So since the Steelers don’t have that first-round pick, let’s take a look at this new mock draft based on the player the Steelers missed out on.
In this new mock draft from CBS Sports, they had the Steelers pick being No. 4 overall. I think we all hope the season doesn’t go so far sideways this is a reality but nevertheless let’s look at the pick.
They have the Miami Dolphins selecting Ohio State edge rusher Chase Young. There isn’t a better edge rusher in the draft than the 6-5, 265-pound Buckeye. Would he fill a definite need for the Steelers? Absolutely. Would we take him over Fitzpatrick? Time will tell.
