Looking and feeling cool with sheer shirts

This season, cool and light "sheer shirts" are all the rage. Coming in a variety of designs and colors, they can be a great outer to any outfit's inner layer.

Sheer shirts are a fashion staple, but this year, ones featuring an oversized design stand out above the rest. With a voluminous silhouette and see-through fabric, a light and airy quality is created.

Polyester "nuance-colored sheer shirts" by Urban Research Co., have a hemp-like texture that can be put on easily. The fabric hugs the body and its sleeves are designed to be long. They're available in gentle colors, gray, beige and pink.

According to a spokesperson of the company, "The transparency of the garment creates a feminine look. Sheer shirts are garnering attention because you can enjoy layering with the clothes you wear underneath."

For example, pairing a shirt with a white camisole allows you to enjoy a gradation of colors that you can only get while wearing a sheer shirt. By fastening to the top button and completing the ensemble with a long pleated skirt covering the ankles and a pair of pumps, you'll have a more elegant look.

"You can also tuck in the front of the shirt into the skirt and leave the back, making your waistline appear higher and giving you a stylish look," says the spokesperson. "When combining the shirt with a pair of pants, you'll have a more neat look if the color of both are tonal."

The "wrinkle organdy shirt" from the brand "Noble," developed by Baycrew's Co., has a band collar, which is a very trendy design this year. Though light around the neck, it is characterized by its firm texture and luster. This item is also oversized and is available in either pink or beige.

Noble's spokesperson explained, "A natural wrinkle process has been applied, giving it a more relaxed atmosphere."

You can enjoy a playful layered style by pairing it with a print T-shirt as an undershirt. To make the print stand out, the main color of the T-shirt should be white.

Having a looser silhouette, it can be matched with slim pants to create an inverted triangle for good balance. Also, because the shirt is transparent, it won't look heavy even when paired with popular wide-legged trousers.

The Noble's spokesperson advises, "It will look even lighter if worn with open-toed sandals."
