'Looked nervous' - Bristol Rovers player ratings as Gas lose 2-0 to Peterborough United

Anssi Jaakkola - 6

Jack Taylor's bullet from long range gave him no chance, and neither did Dan Butler with the second.

Max Ehmer (c) - 6

Another solid performance from the skipper, this time in the middle of the back three. Little he could do with either goal.

Alfie Kilgour - 4

Looked nervous early doors, and made a rash decision to charge towards Siriki Dembele in the build-up to the goal. The playmaker beat him with ease and he picked the pass for Taylor to smash in. He, and several other Gas players, sat off Butler to allow the second goal.

Cian Harries - 6

Steady performance, with his distribution much improved from Saturday, but he could have moved it quicker at times.

Josh Hare - 5

Quality of delivery faded as the game went on, and he could have done more to apply pressure for the second goal.

David Tutonda - 5

Did not have the desired impact in the final third, and it appeared the hamstring niggle was continuing to trouble him as he was taken off shortly after the hour mark.

Josh Grant - 4

Too slow on the ball in midfield. Needed to be more efficient to give Rovers' attacks more impetus. Did an OK job defensively, but Garner needs more from him in these tough games.

Zain Westbrooke - 6

Some brilliant moments in the first half where he showed his class on the ball. Get the sense he is trying too hard on the ball when little is happening around him, but the imagination is there.

Sam Nicholson - 5

Rovers' best chances fell to him in the first half, and he put them both on target, but his influence was limited otherwise.

James Daly - 4

Really tough game for him. Was almost anonymous. Better days to come.

Brandon Hanlan - 5

Made Rovers' best chance of the second half for himself, spinning Beevers well but he struck his shot straight at Pym. Tough night otherwise as Rovers struggled to get going in the final third.

Subs

Ali Koiki (for Tutonda on 65 minutes) - 6

Came on just after the second goal, and the game fizzled out from there.

Erhun Oztumer (for Nicholson on 69 minutes) - 6

Got on the ball plenty, but couldn't make anything happen

Jayden Mitchell-Lawson (for Daly on 69 minutes) - 6

Like Oztumer, he gave it a go, but couldn't inspire the comeback.

Not used: Jordi van Stappershoef, Ed Upson, , Luke McCormick, Jack Baldwin, , .
