Look: Young fan welcomes Rams to London, gets photos with players

The Los Angeles Rams made their way from Atlanta to London on Thursday, flying across the Atlantic before their game against the Bengals this weekend. Having played in London three times before, the Rams have built a following among fans in England.

Upon arriving at the airport Thursday, the team was greeted by fans, but one in particular stood out on social media. This young fan named Harry, wearing a Todd Gurley jersey, brought a Rams helmet and sharpie with him and got autographs from several players.

He also took photos with Cooper Kupp, Johnny Hekker, Jared Goff and Sean McVay. Based on his dad’s tweet, he also got photos with Jalen Ramsey and Andrew Whitworth, too.

The Rams posted a vide on Twitter of Harry getting Goff’s autograph, too.

The Rams are expecting a big crowd at Wembley Stadium on Sunday as they’ll take on the Bengals.

Gurley spoke about what it’s like to play in London in front of their fans, and he sounds excited about the opportunity.

“It’s cool. A lot of energy,” Gurley said Thursday. “Those fans are a little different over there – pretty much get excited for everything. It’s cool just to be able to have the opportunity play an international game. This is something you can look back on and half the team, a lot of us aren’t going to go to London just to go to London, so a good opportunity for a lot of guys to get a little stamp on their passport and go over there and experience everything.”
