Look who’s replacing Urban Meyer on FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff Show

Former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is moving on to the NFL after spending time as an analyst on FOX’s “Big Noon Kickoff Show.” His takes and analysis were entertaining and insightful and helped garner a fairly impressive audience and following in a short amount of time for the FOX Sports brand. So much so, that it crept into the market share of the popular ESPN “College GameDay” pregame show.

Now with Meyer no longer sitting at the desk, the network has reportedly reached into the pool of former national championship-winning coaches by luring former Oklahoma head coach and Ohio native Bob Stoops to fill the void.

This news comes courtesy of Andrew Marchand of the New York Post. Stoops is 60 years old and retired from coaching in 2017. He won the national championship in Norman in 2000 and became the program’s winningest coach.

Stoops will be joined with the familiar faces of host Rob Stone, and analysts Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Brady Quinn.
