Look: Todd Gurley posts anti-NCAA sentiment on Twitter

The NCAA has been the subject of much controversy, as cries get louder for the organization to pay its athletes, as well as giving them more freedoms and priviliges in general. Additionally, fair treatment of players across the board, not just the big name athletes, has been a big talk the past year.

Former UGA and current LA Rams running back Todd Gurley, who had his own run-in with the NCAA in 2014, recently took to Twitter to make it be known that he, too, is not a fan of the way the organization handles its business.

Gurley had to serve a suspension in his junior year with the Georgia Bulldogs after the NCAA found that he had signed autographs for money, breaking its code of ethics. He missed four games, derailing what would have been a legendary Georgia season. When he returned, he tore his ACL on a cold November night during his first m game back vs Auburn.

As more and more high profile athletes speak out, let’s see if the NCAA finally listens. They haven’t to this point.
