Look: Todd Gurley swam with sharks, visited ‘Pig Island’ in Bahamas

When Todd Gurley stepped to the podium for the start of offseason workouts last month, he was immediately asked about his knee. Then he fielded a question about how he spent his time off, to which he said he finally got to travel like he’s always wanted to, now that he got paid.

He’s enjoyed the offseason to the fullest and was recently in the Bahamas. While vacationing there, he swam with sharks – albeit, mostly harmless nurse sharks – and fed pigs on the famous “Pig Island.”

Check out some highlights from his trip to the Bahamas.

From Miami to the Dominican Republic to the Bahamas, Gurley did a lot of traveling this offseason – and he deserved it. After a long season and no lack of speculation surrounding his knee, getting away was exactly what he needed.

Gurley was in the Bronx for the Yankees game on Thursday night, too.
