A lot has been made this offseason of the work that Washington quarterback Dwayne Haskins has put into his preparation and fitness going into the 2020 season. However, it’s hard to realize how far he has come until you really see a side-by-side before and after picture.
That’s just what we got this weekend, as Haskins quote tweeted the images from last years training camp next to an image from earlier this week. The amount of definition shown, and the clear loss of baby fat is remarkable. To put it simply, Haskins looks like an NFL quarterback now, with a physique similar to that of Deshaun Watson rather than Byron Leftwich.
Whether or not it will result in more wins is yet to be determined, but we can assume that all the work he’s put in on his body has been coupled with mental reps and hours spent in the playbook as he looks to take the field in good fashion this coming season.
