The Washington Commanders are one week closer to ending a miserable season. The Commanders fell to 4-12 after Sunday’s 27-10 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. It was Washington’s seventh consecutive loss.
Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr. was back in the lineup for the first time since Week 13 and was outstanding. Sadly for the Commanders, Robinson had only nine carries. Washington’s offense struggled as it went away from the running game in the second half.
Sunday’s game also featured the returns of former Washington players Chase Young and Trent Williams to FedEx Field.
The Commanders wrap up the 2023 regular season next week by hosting the Dallas Cowboys at FedEx Field. Before we look ahead to Week 18, let’s look back at some of the best images from Sunday’s game between the 49ers and Commanders.
