LOOK: Tennessee fan outlines crazy path to Atlanta for Vols

Despite losing to Georgia and Florida early on in the season, the Tennessee Volunteers are still alive to win the SEC East.

Well, technically….

It is possible for the Vols to reach Atlanta, though the odds are against them. However, we’ll outline their difficult path to the Benz anyways because why not.

In order for Tennessee to reach Atlanta, the Vols will have to:

Path to ATL for the Vols with updated ESPN FPI. All games are a must. Need 6 upsets in 8 games that matter. 1:59,000

VU>UF (3.1% chance)
MIZ>UGA (12.9)
UT>UK (42.7)

AUB>UGA (54.7)
MIZ>UF (31.9)

Week 13
TAMU>UGA (17.5)
UT>MIZ (37.2)

So, yeah… technically they are still alive, but probably not for long.

Hopefully, this scenario keeps going until kickoff in Athens next weekend. Then, it can be put to bed.

But if all hell were to break loose, we’d much rather have the Vols playing in Atlanta than the Gators.

Remember 2014 though, when all Georgia needed was another Missouri loss to make it to the Dome… I don’t think Tennessee will get 3 Georgia and 2 Florida losses, while winning out, but ya never know.
