LOOK: Ryan Day in a throwback photo as quarterback of New Hampshire

If you know anything about Ohio State head coach Ryan Day, you know his early life was one where he was a college quarterback. It wasn’t at the Division I-A (FBS now) level, but instead with FCS (I-AA at the time) school New Hampshire from 1998-2001.

We’re sure Day has done his best to limit the photos of him circulating from back then, but the NFL Network uncovered a vintage photo of the current OSU head coach in his New Hampshire uniform. You see, it appears that he and Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy were quarterbacks around the same time at two FCS I-AA schools, Nagy being the quarterback at Delaware.

If you missed it and weren’t watching Justin Fields’ debut with the Chicago Bears (which was very good by the way), get a look at Day with his helmet off in a classic photo as the leader of the Wildcats.

This is good stuff. However, I’m not sure whether Day would be more upset about this picture floating around, or the fact that he is next to a player wearing a winged helmet that looks awfully similar to That School Up North.
