On Monday, Georgia picked up a commitment from 4-star 2020 offensive Tate Ratledge. Ratledge, who ranks as the nation’s No. 39 overall player, attends Darlington High School in Rome, Georgia and helped to boost the Dawgs to the No. 5 class in the 2020 cycle.
Following the commitment, Georgia fans were not the only ones celebrating. Ratledge’s father, a longtime Tennessee fan, removed a Vols decal from his car and replaced it with the Georgia G. And the city of Rome got in on the action by congratulating Ratledge via a billboard in town.
