Look: Rams rookies arrive in L.A., get fitted for gear

As was the case last year, the Los Angeles Rams didn’t hold a rookie minicamp this offseason. Instead, they used the time to hold a tryout-type camp for those who weren’t drafted or signed as free agents.

The draft class and undrafted rookies arrived on Monday in advance of next week’s OTA sessions and they were shown around the facility. They were assigned lockers, fitted for helmets and began getting to know each other.

Dakota Allen, who’s expected to wear No. 51, was fitted for his helmet upon arriving to the Rams’ headquarters.

Taylor Rapp, the Rams’ top pick in the draft, was also in the building on Monday. He and David Long, the newest defensive backs, met each other, as well.

Nick Scott, the Rams’ seventh-round pick, shared a message with fans, saying how excited he is to be in Los Angeles.

Here’s a recap of the day for the rookies, which included some ping-pong.
