LOOK: Raiders new Allegiant stadium was lit up last night

There isn’t much in the way of festivities in Las Vegas right now with the coronavirus shutting down casinos. But the lights on and around the strip still remind everyone of the vibrant nightlife that will return at some point.

The newest structure on the Vegas skyline had its lights turned on last night, adding to the Vegas glow.

As you can see, Allegiant Stadium is no longer a dark spot at night. The neon lines are lit up all around the exterior, making its presence known just across I-15 from the Vegas strip.

The 65,000-seat stadium is scheduled for completion in July, and should the NFL season start on time, it could host games as early as mid-August.

Clearly, the timeline for the lights was with the intention of having them on for the NFL Draft in late April, when the NFL was to converge on the city along with thousands of fans. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, those festivities were canceled.
