It’s been a dream start to Puka Nacua’s NFL career. The fifth-round rookie leads the league with 50 receptions and already has 598 yards in his first six games, averaging almost 100 yards per contest.
He’s set records along the way, including one for the most receptions by a player in his first five career games. That happened in Week 5 when he caught seven passes for 71 yards and a touchdown against the Eagles, giving him 46 total receptions on the season – an NFL record through a rookie’s first five games.
The Pro Football Hall of Fame reserved a spot for Nacua in Canton and put his jersey on display for his record-setting start.

Nacua has been a star for the Rams through the first six games, and while he’s now riding shotgun next to Cooper Kupp, he’s still given Los Angeles one of the best receiving tandems in the NFL alongside No. 10.
He’s exceeded all expectations as a fifth-round rookie, and the numbers he’s putting up would be outstanding for even a first-rounder.
