LOOK. Ohio State actually doesn’t drop in one of the major polls

In a shocking development the way things are going with the national narrative, the Ohio State football team actually held steady in one of the major polls instead of dropping behind Clemson. That’s right, the Amway Coaches Poll and College Football Playoff Rankings may have OSU at No. 4, but the Associated Press is sticking to its guns and keeping the Buckeyes at No. 3, behind both Alabama (1), and Notre Dame (2).

Ever since the CFP Committee decided to throw Ohio State behind one-loss Clemson, almost every media site, poll, and talking head has decided to follow suit and set up the narrative that OSU just isn’t as good as they thought. It’s only played four games and sat out last week because of coronavirus concerns, so that didn’t help matters.

Behind the three aforementioned teams, and rounding out the top ten are Clemson (4), Texas A&M (5), Florida (6), Cincinnati (7), BYU (8), Miami (9), and Indiana (1).

We still don’t know what the situation is at Ohio State when it comes to potentially getting back on the field this Saturday for a game at Michigan State, but we’ll stay on top of any further developments.

In the meantime, here’s the rest of the AP Top 25 College Football Poll
