Look: Mitchell and Ness tease Jags throwback jerseys for June

Around this time last year, fans were discussing their thoughts on the Jacksonville Jaguars uniform change, which received mixed reviews. Some felt that they were too plain, while others felt they were reminiscent of the Jags original uniforms, which almost everyone was a fan of. Now, a year later, it seems as though that feedback didn’t go unnoticed as Mitchell and Ness will be releasing the Jags’ old school throwbacks in June.

It appears Mitchell and Ness will be releasing both the Jags’ home (teal) and away (white) throwbacks from the late 90s in which fans saw the team win a lot of games in. Both will feature black and gold trim on the lettering with the old Jaguars logo appearing on the sleeves. The teal uniform also appears to have black trim on the arm seam, but it’s unknown if the white uniforms will.

So far the only players who Mitchell and Ness have shown jerseys for are Fred Taylor and Keenan McCardell, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see greats like Tony Boselli, Jimmy Smith and Mark Brunell on the shelves, too, when next month rolls around. The prices are currently unknown, but regardless as to what the price will be, I’m sure Mitchell and Ness won’t have any trouble selling the highly popular throwbacks with this season marking the 25th anniversary of the team.
