After requests from Jacksonville Jaguars fans and many others, the good people over at Mitchell and Ness have delivered as the Jags’ “Legacy” jerseys are now available for purchase. The company took to Twitter to make the announcement Friday and the players they currently have jerseys for include Fred Taylor, Mark Brunell, Tony Boselli and Maurice Jones-Drew at the moment.
Of course, the colors in which are available are teal (home) and white (away), with Taylor’s jersey being the only one that fans can purchase in white.
Mitchell and Ness made the announcement last month that the Jags “Legacy” series was in the works, so the wait wasn’t a long one by any means. It appears more releases could be on the horizon, too, as the Keenan McCardell jerseys the company teased haven’t hit the shelves yet.
The timing on their release comes as the Jags are celebrating their 25th anniversary and will be having events all throughout the 2019 regular season which will involve players of the past and present. At the cost of $150, fans can cop a jersey to began getting ready early for what will be a festive season at TIAA Bank Field.
