After taking part in a peaceful protest at Chino Hills on Sunday afternoon alongside brother LiAngelo and family friend Darren “D Mo” Moore, Lonzo and LaMelo Ball continued speaking out on social media. Both Ball brothers shared an Instagram post with the words “If YOU ain’t wit US, WE ain’t wit Y’ALL” on a black background.
The post itself is made more particularly noteworthy considering that the entirety of the Los Angeles Lakers roster posted that same image simultaneously earlier in the day. A handful of former Lakers also made the post as well in Jordan Clarkson, Thomas Bryant and DeMarcus Cousins.
With James being one of the first to make the post and considering his comfortable role as an outspoken leader on and off the court, it would be safe to assume he at least had a hand in coordinating the joint posts.
