With his Big Baller Brand future in question, it was little surprise that Lonzo Ball sported a new look on his feet for Media Day. Ball sported a unique pair of Undefeated Nike Kobe 4 Protros as he made one of his first appearances in a New Orleans Pelicans jersey. With complementary blue and turquoise colors across the shoe with an orange highlight around the Nike logo and tongue, it’s a unique colorway that also is a perfect match for the unique colors for the Pelicans.
In previous years at Media Day, Ball has sports BBB shoes. During Media Day last season, Ball showed off a special pair Melo Ball 1s with an all-white colorway that had previously been unavailable. For much of last season, though, Ball wore the newest edition of his own line, the ZO2.19s.
However, it’s not the first time Ball has been spotted in Kobes. Ball has also stated in the past that Kobes were his favorite shoes to wear playing basketball while growing up. With his sneaker future up in the air, it could also be a sign of a future to come that includes more pairs of Kobes and other Nike shoes.
