MANILA, Philippines – James Reid and Nancy McDonie have stepped into their roles as Jayson and Binna in the upcoming series The Soulmate Project.
Co-producers Project 8 cor San Joaquin and Dreamscape Entertainment shared photos on Instagram of James and Nancy at a look test. One set of photos shows James wearing an apron over an orange shirt, with Nancy wearing a white dress.
Another look shows them wearing sleepwear – Nancy in silk pajamas and James in a basketball jersey and sando. A third look shows the two of them all glammed up in formal clothes and getting close.

The series, which is being written and directed by Antoinette Jadaone, is set to begin production soon.
In a previous interview with ABS-CBN, Antoinette said that the series will include 13 episodes, with a format patterned after US and Korean dramas.
It will be filmed both in the Philippines and in South Korea.
James had previously worked together with Antoinette in the hit teleserye On The Wings of Love, where he starred alongside then-love team partner Nadine Lustre, who later became his girlfriend, and now his ex.
Nancy, who is a member of K-pop girl group Momoland, will make her Philippine TV debut on the show. – Rappler.com
