Look: Jags’ defensive, offensive lineman get a martial arts workout in together

Not having a regular organized team activity or minicamp phase has made this offseason very different for fans and players of the NFL as things have gone to a more digital format because of COVID-19. This has also led to players having to get creative with workouts to occupy their time before training camp, which will begin at the end of July.

The Jags’ offensive line and defensive line are among those in the league who have found unique ways to build team chemistry through. This week, members from each group held a martial arts workout together at a Jacksonville dojo called Combatives Unlimited.

Defensive lineman Dawuane Smoot shared a picture via Instagram Friday, which included veteran Andrew Norwell, second-year offensive tackle Jawwan Taylor, defensive end Lerentee McCray and rookie Davon Hamilton.
