Look inside the stunning new harbourside flats for sale in Bristol

New flats have been unveiled on a former Grade-II listed 19th century gasworks at Bristol's Harbourside.

Brandon Yard occupies the last available position on the northern section of Bristol’s Harbourside, with many of the new homes already sold off.

The site is situated on the former Victorian gasworks once known as the Canon’s Marsh Gasworks with one of the buildings, Engine House, turned into a pair of two-bedroomed houses.

Oculus House, which once was home to the gasworks purifier, has been converted to provide 15 one and two-bedroom loft-style apartments.

A restored Victorian brick chimney remains on the site, an iconic reminder of the site’s heritage.

New Retort House with eight homes left, Oculus House with four homes left and Engine House is full sold in the highly-sought after area.

But with such a spot by the water, the homes are not cheap. The remaining two bedroom apartments are priced from £395,000, and three bedroom apartments will set you back a princely £825,000.

The company describes Retort House as providing 41 apartments in a contemporary new building with glazing and brickwork designed to harmonize with its heritage setting.

Many of the apartments have outside balconies or terraces, overlooking the central courtyard and gardens by award-winning landscape artist Matthew Wigan.

Oculus House, named after its windows, is a restored building with much of the original structure preserved, offering a collection of loft-style apartments.

Many of the homes overlook the harbour and Brunel’s SS Great Britain, and the ground floor apartments benefit from outdoor private terraces

Robin Squire, from Acorn Property Group said: “Brandon Yard has proved to be a highly successful scheme and we are delighted to unveil our new show apartment as we approach the final homes available.

"It was essential that the design of the new build New Retort House harmonized with the historic buildings on site, and the interior styling by WN Interiors echoes this beautifully. The show home offers stylish living and we expect it to be very popular.”
