The Detroit Lions held an open practice and scrimmage session in Ford Field on Saturday. More than 18,000 fans showed up for the exhibition, the first chance to catch the Lions in the second year under head coach Dan Campbell for most fans.
The crowd was hyped up, in part thanks to Campbell himself. The players also gave the Ford Field faithful much to cheer about.
