Earlier this week, Vivid Seats noted that Georgia fans were buying a majority of the tickets on the secondary market for UGA’s game on Saturday night vs Vanderbilt.
The ratio, at the time of the report, was roughly 70-30 in Georgia’s favor. We knew DawgNation travels well, but that ratio is something else for a road game. The demand for this game has driven ticket prices up, making the SEC East matchup college football’s most expensive ticket for the opening week, per TicketIQ.
Knowing that Georgia fans travel well, plenty of DawgNation members went ahead and booked their Nashville hotel rooms early. That includes diehard Bulldog fan Angela Pitts, who booked her Nashville Marriott hotel room more than a year in advance.
And once you see this view from Pitts’ hotel ROOM, you’ll see why she was so proactive in securing her reservation.
“We booked the room over a year in advance to get one facing the stadium,” Pitts said.
Pitts, whose family owns eight season tickets to Georgia games, rarely misses a UGA game, home or away.
“We may miss 1-2 (road games) a year,” she said. “Always go to GA/FL. Always go to AU & TN. Go to SC. Go to GT if not at noon.”
