Former Georgia basketball forward Nic Claxton was selected with the first pick of the NBA Draft’s second round Thursday at No. 31 overall by the Brooklyn Nets.
Just days later, the South Carolina native traveled up to Brooklyn to meet his new coaching staff and fellow teammate Jaylen Hands (56) before receiving a Nets jersey.
From the looks of it, Claxton will keep his No. 33 he wore at Georgia while wearing black and white with Brooklyn.
